baby close brush to death

A few days ago I was back in my hometown visiting family.
There's this 1 night, where I'm supposed to be enjoying nice dinner outside with my family which didn't happen.
A sudden ear-piercing, soul-shattering scream was heard from my brother's room. Actually it sounded more like a witch's screaming. ^^;;

So I rush out from my room to see what's going on. What I saw shocked me so much I lost my voice for a minute. My sis-in-law was holding her baby and screaming so horridly in his face and putting 3 fingers down his small tiny throat. I couldn't register what was going on until the pitiful crying of her baby jolted me back to reality.

After finding out that she has given her baby a gummy bear candy and he has choked on it, I quickly tell her to stop poking his tiny throat. I mean: the baby is crying already for goodness sake, of cos he's no longer choking on it rite? Am I rite? Or she's too shocked to realise that?

Anyway I managed to get her to stop after a few tries. Then when we questioned her: how could you give a candy to a baby? We told u how many times already. She replied: I didn't give him, he snatched it from my hand.

Just so u know the baby only 1yr 3mths old. If a baby can act faster than an adult, HOLY COW, that adult must either be retard or handicapped. ( note: I do not look down or is biased towards any of the mentioned)

And of course, we fierced the maid questioning her: why she let it happened? She replied softly in tears, and shakingly :madam give not me, madam give not me. (at the same time pointing to my sis-in-law. >.<
